NFL Day One

The NFL’s League Year started off with a thunderous bang yesterday, (literally for those here in Texas). Free Agents changed teams, a lot of money changed hands and the RZP Twitter feed scrolled by faster than a Wall Street ticker.

Here’s some links to the biggest stories from Day One:

Brock Osweiler leaves John Elway’s Broncos for the Houston Texans

The NFL dolled out tampering fines to Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs

Jet’s star running back Chris Ivory did what many New Yorkers do and moved to Florida to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars

Meanwhile the Buccaneers resigned Doug Martin while Miami’s Lamar Miller ran to Houston.

The Jaguars and Raiders had to spend money, so Jacksonville grabbed Malik Jackson while Oakland signed Bruce Irvin, Kelechi Osemele and are trying to sign several others.

The Chicago Bears poached Denver linebacker Danny Trevathan.

Big Blue spent even bigger, re-loading for their new look and new coach paying Olivier Vernon more money than 3-time DPOY JJ Watt.
