Monday Night Football: Bears Eat Vikings Defense For Dessert

Minnesota Vikings 10 Chicago Bears 20

When people asked if the Minnesota Vikings were for real two weeks ago, apparently the answer was no.

After losing to Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles last weekend, and being called out for being soft by head coach Mike Zimmer, the Vikings offense went out and tossed up an equally lackluster effort in front of a national halloween audience last night.

The Vikings, the team to beat in the NFL just two short weeks ago, have now been beaten by a total of 41-20 over that span.

While Chicago certainly isn’t a contender this year, their rookie running back Jordan Howard ran for 153 yards against what’s supposed to be the best defense in the NFL.

With the loss, the Vikings have handed the keys to the NFC to the rookie led Dallas Cowboys, who now hold the best record not only in the national conference, but the entire league.
